After Donald Trump declared that he "hates" Taylor Swift, Flavor Flav has been among the many celebrities to share their love for the singer-songwriter.

In a tweet posted shortly after Trump's comment shared on Truth Social, which was itself a belated response to Swift's endorsement of Kamala Harris in the 2024 Election, Flavor Flav jumped on X, formerly Twitter, to counter the former president's post. "I LOVE TAYLOR SWIFT," he wrote.

Earlier this month, Flavor Flav and Olympian Jordan Chiles presented Taylor Swift and Post Malone with the Best Collaboration award for their track "Fortnight" at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. When the artists came onstage to collect the award, Flav hugged Swift and she shouted him out for his "sweet" support.

He stayed onstage with her and Post Malone as they gave their speech, which he later apologized for on social media. "I watched some videos from last and feel like I might've stayed on stage too long," he wrote. "My bad. I was just so happy and excited that I didn't realize it. Oops!!!"

In an interview with Us Weekly, Flav said he wants to see Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce marry. "I think they're going to be together for a while," he said. "I want to be the preacher. I want to be the one that marries them." He added that he thinks that Swift is a "great person" and "one hell of a musician and a great lyricist."

Flavor Flav wasn't the only celebrity to voice his support for Taylor Swift. Legendary author Stephen King also shared his support in a tweet. "I love Taylor Swift," he wrote. "Her music makes me happy. End of story." Elon Musk, who has made it his effort to destroy the platform formerly known as Twitter, proceeded to ask King what his favorite Swift songs are. The author did not respond.

Donald Trump has made a point throughout the campaign trail this year to mention Swift on numerous occasions. He previously referred to the singer-songwriter as "beautiful," but his attitude took a turn after she publicly endorsed Harris and VP pick Tim Walz in a post that also shaded Trump's running partner, JD Vance.
