The Invasion of Privacy rapper responded to a fan on X, who noted that she walking around without any security, saying, “It was like 9am and I was hungry .....also nobody finna touch me.”

However, that explanation may not have been enough for some of her fans, one of whom asked Cardi to invest in having security guards with her around the clock.

Across other responses to fans, the “WAP” rapper said she stays polite on the streets and doesn’t make much eye contact as a safety measure. Despite her pregnancy, Cardi said she’s “not a feet up person” and loves to walk around her city, eating out, and shopping. She also mentioned that she likes her privacy and that her driver is “never far.”

When another fan chimed in about keeping herself safe from creeps that could see her “as an easy target,” Cardi wrote, “Well they only gonna steal my wig cause I don't carry cash or walk around wit jewelry.”

The conversation took a turn when the Grammy winner said she hates being “babied,” and asked her fans to stop talking to her in that manner. An X user described Cardi’s aversion to that kind of affection as a “trauma response,” which another fan agreed with.

“Wtffff yall be talking about ...yall need help ....it was 9am and I went to get a bacon egg and cheese ... STOP WIT THIS cry baby shit Y'all too pussy ...let me get off this app cause yall irritating me and is not even funny,” Cardi wrote in a now-deleted tweet.

Despite some back-and-forth about dropping a new album, a source connected to Cardi told TMZ her highly-anticipated sophomore album will not be delayed because of her pregnancy and will arrive later this year. The album is reportedly 75 percent done and has some A-list names tapped in for features.
