Since its launch in 2018, Nicki Minaj’s Beats 1 radio station, Queen Radio, has treated listeners to hours of uncensored entertainment. The show was originally created in support of the rapper’s fourth studio album, Queen, but eventually evolved into a place where Nicki and her friends could speak candidly about anything and everything.

The formula for Queen Radio—a combination of hot takes on industry dealings, inside scoops on the latest gossip, explosive sound effects, and an endless playlist of Nicki’s discography—is pretty simple, but it's helped the show become the number one artist station on Apple Music.

From sharing a take on her infamous feud with Cardi B, to announcing her upcoming nuptials, and calling out male rappers, there have been plenty of wild moments that have gone down on Queen Radio so far. Here are the wildest moments on Nicki Minaj’s Queen Radio, ranked.

17.Nicki and Blac Chyna Talk Masturbation (Episode 13)

This one is actually more bizarre than funny, but it ranks as one of the wildest conversations Nicki’s had on the show. When Blac Chyna made a surprise appearance on the show, fans thought she would spill all the gossip regarding her relationships with Rob, Kim, and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner squad. Instead, fans listened to an awkward game of “Have You Ever,” where the duo discussed whether they ever thought about each other while masturbating.

15.Nicki and Boyfriend Kenneth Petty Will Be Married In 80 Days (Episode 15)

On episode 12, Nicki first shocked the Barbz by revealing that she and her boyfriend, Kenneth Petty, had applied for a marriage license. Three episodes later, Minaj hit listeners with more details about her forthcoming wedding. According to Nicki, couples have 90 days after receiving a marriage license to tie the knot. Since she admitted that 10 days had already passed since she received the documents, she had 80 days to jump the broom. Nicki may be ready to take Petty’s last name, but she said a wedding would have to wait. “I have to work on my album, and I have a lot to focus on that I don’t to do the big wedding now. We’ll do the big wedding later,” she said, suggesting the ceremony could follow the release of her fifth studio album. Nicki and Petty’s forthcoming union isn’t too shocking, since they’ve known each other since they were teens, but her announcement did come at a random time. It’s also worth mentioning that certain details from Petty’s past have come to light, and not all of her fans are convinced he is her Prince Charming.

13.C***suckers of the Day (Various Episodes)

There are different variations of superlatives given out on Queen Radio. The most common titles are “Cocksucker of the Day,” “Dick Rider of the Day,” and “Hoe Nigga of the Week.” We heard about the latter on episode four, when she labeled Travis Scott as much. But she’s also awarded the title to other industry execs, such as Scott’s manager Irving Azoff (she later rescinded the title), Grammy’s Ken Ehrlich, and reporters from Billboard and Pitchfork for articles regarding her Queen Tour and brand. I’m not here to judge whether those titles are justified, but it’s hilarious to hear Nicki hand them out in a thick New York accent with tons of bomb effects, nonetheless.

11.Nicki Calls Out Grammys’ Ken Ehrlich (Episode 14)

No one is safe when Nicki is on air. Not even Grammys producer, Ken Ehrlich. Minaj dedicated a segment of her Queen Radio episode to Ehrlich after the industry executive became entangled in a scandal with Nicki’s frequent collaborator, Ariana Grande. Reports claimed Grande backed out of a performance at the Grammys because she was not able to pull a performance of that magnitude together at the last minute. She blasted Ehrlich for those false accusations on Twitter, writing, “Ken, it was when my creativity and self-expression was stifled by you, that I decided not to attend [the Grammys].” Nicki later tweeted in support of Grande, vowing to recall her run-in with Ehrlich on her radio show.

And as promised, she took it there. She accused Ehrlich of trying to persuade her not to perform at the Grammys in 2012 following the death of Whitney Houston. Nicki refused because she didn’t understand his reasoning. “It made absolutely no sense. This is after I had done a bunch of commercials with L.L. Cool J to promote the Grammys […],” she explained. “After I did everything they asked, they told me not to perform. I said, ‘No I’m going to perform.'” Because she declined to back out of the performance, Ken allegedly blackballed her from the Recording Academy. Admittedly, there are a couple of holes in her story, but to put a Grammys executive on blast on a top-rated Apple Music radio show, gives the moment a spot on this list.

9.Miley Cyrus Gets Compared to a Perdue Chicken (Episode 13)

Miley Cyrus may have started this fight, but Nicki Minaj ended it. After Miley made headlines for her song “Cattitude,” which appeared to take jabs at Nicki (“I love you Nicki, but I listen to Cardi”), Nicki hit back, comparing Miley to raw meat, saying, “Perdue chickens can never talk shit about queens.” She also addressed Cryus’ “not too kind” interview from 2015, when the pop singer said that Minaj was a bitch for dissing the VMAs and Taylor Swift. The memes alone give this moment a top 5 ranking.

7.Nicki vs. Joe Budden (Episode 15)

Nicki and Joe Budden are more alike than they would probably like to admit. On episode 15, things between the two got spicy when they engaged in a heated discussion about drugs, “Motorsport,” and constructive criticism. If you can’t keep up with people yelling over each other at outrageously loud volumes, this probably isn’t the episode for you. It all started when Budden suggested the rollout of Nicki’s new collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, “Hot Girl Summer” was calculated. Nicki was bothered by his statement, claiming that he was “tearing down women when they can’t defend themselves.” That eventually expanded to a larger conversation about how Budden has always had negative and false feedback when Nicki collaborates with female artists. That’s how the two found their way back to “Motorsport,” which was the song that originally ignited Nicki’s beef with Cardi (Cardi suggested Nicki changed her verse after she jumped on the track). For the first time, Budden wasn’t able to share his side of the story because Nicki cut his mic off. The greatest part about this episode is that Nicki and Joe just sound like they're arguing with a clone of themselves.

5.Travis Scott Scores “Hoe N***a of the Week” (Episode 4)

Travis Scott was honored with the very first superlative on Queen Radio when Nicki crowned him the “Hoe Nigga of the Week.” Nicki appeared to take issue with her album, Queen, getting beat out for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart by Trav’s Astroworld. More importantly, Nicki had a problem with Scott’s advertisement plan, which utilized his tour sales and his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner’s social media presence. “He’s out here selling clothes instead of music,” she said. “What we’re not gonna do is have that Auto-Tune man selling fucking sweaters, telling you he sold half a million albums because he fucking didn’t. You stupid fuck. You got your fucking homeboy talking for you and you got your girlfriend selling tour passes. Stop it. Knock it the fuck off.” It’s important to note that Nicki took her rant from Queen Radio and continued it on Twitter. This time, she addressed Travis, Kylie, and their infant daughter, Stormi. Poor Stormi wasn’t even one years old when the episode aired.

3.Harriet Tubman and Freedom (Episode 4)

On episode four of Queen Radio, Nicki gifted us with one of the most iconic performances from the Queens native so far. In one segment of the two-hour show, Nicki ambitiously compared herself to abolitionist and political activist, Harriet Tubman. That parallel eventually spiraled into a rant, in which Nicki combined keywords like “slavery,” “queens,” and “balls” into two sentences. “You think Harriet Tubman was walking around with a fucking nice shiny fucking dress on with a fucking crown on her head when she was taking slaves?! To freedom,” she exclaimed. “Queens don’t also talk and look nice and polished. Being a queen has more to do with having balls. To do what you weak fucks won’t do!” Naturally, “to freedom!” was one of the most quoted lines on social media, blogs, and in casual conversations for months.

1.Nicki Minaj vs. Cardi B (Episode 8)

The Nicki vs. Cardi B conversation is an exhausting debate at this point. Nevertheless, when Nicki first addressed her side of their infamous scuffle at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS Party in September 2018, most of us had our ears glued to the speakers. Nicki started off rather calmly, refuting reports that alleged she instigated the near-fight by spewing hateful words about Cardi B’s daughter, Kulture. “I just want to let the world know that Onika Tanya Maraj will never, has never spoke ill of anyone’s child. I am not a clown, that’s clown shit,” she declared.

What makes this episode so wild is where she decided to take the conversation next. Fuming, Nicki then addressed Cardi’s blossoming career, accusing the Bronx artist of sleeping with DJs for radio plays. “You came into my fucking culture! I never had to bang a DJ to play my fucking songs,” she said, dropping in a few side effects for dramatic emphasis. “You’re angry and you’re sad. This is not funny. Get this woman some fucking help. This woman’s at the highest point in her career and she’s throwing shows?” Nicki’s comments ultimately kick-started another phase of the Nicki and Cardi saga on social media, making this another memorable moment in rap, and the wildest moment on Queen Radio to date.
