It’s almost peak holiday season, and it’s also that time of year where everyone is looking to give back. Popular Philadelphia-based retailer Villa is doing its part and partnered up with Timberland for a special edition pair of the classic 6-inch boot. The often-favored wheat color is substituted a refreshing vibrant ruby red hue that fits right in with holiday colors and really, at all times of the year.
Dubbed, the “Join The Movement” (JTM) boot, the shoe serves two purposes. First, to crush any other boot and style on anyone that crosses your path. Seriously, the ruby red pops, and will stomp out any other red sneaker that dudes are rocking. The second is to help benefit the Wissahickon Boys & Girls Club in Philadelphia, PA, where 10% of the sales will be donated. You can’t go wrong, really.
A cosigner isn’t really necessary to cop judging on how dope these really are. But if you really need one, photographer 13th Witness shot Complex's own Joe La Puma taking a break from the Internet and staring pensively into the distance, envisioning how many double taps this pair will elicit when they show up on Instagram.
There are only 1,200 pairs made and will be available at all VILLA retail locations and the VILLA website starting Dec. 7.
