It's been 17 years since Toyota stopped producing their much-loved sports car the Supra. That all changes today, however, as the company revealed the 2020 GR Supra. Before it returns proper in 2020 at the starting price of $49,990, Toyota will release a limited-run of Launch Edition Supras at $55,250, with each of the 1,500 cars individually numbered.
After a number of leaks, Toyota officially revealed the new Supra at the 2019 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. It marks the first new model available in the U.S. in over 20 years. The Launch Edition Supras will be available in three different colors; white, black, and red.
When the new Supra officially launches next year, it'll come in both 3.0 and 3.0 Premium grades. The Launch Edition is expected to go on sale this summer, and will be based on the 3.0 Premium grade. Toyota has received a response that's decidedly mixed thus far. Check out some of the reactions to the new Supra below.
