1.

Big Sean seems like a guy who likes sports. In the past, the Detroit rapper has recorded a song for the Pistons. He has talked at length about his love for his hometown teams. And he has even posed with the Larry O'Brien Trophy. But is he also posing as a fan who doesn't actually know anything about sports?! GASP!

2.

We're going to give Sean the benefit of the doubt and say that he does know a thing or two about sports, given his history with them. But he definitely doesn't show it in the new Lawrence Lamont-directed music video for his single, "IDFWU." In the video—which features appearances from Kanye West, DJ Mustard, and E-40—Sean plays the role of the top-recruited high school football quarterback in the country. And while he ends up being the hero in the end, it's hard to take Sean's acting in the "IDFWU" video too seriously, because there are so many things in it that have made sports fanatics say "WTF?"

Here are 7 Things Football Fans Hate About Big Sean's "IDFWU" Video.

3.Big Sean—who is shorter than Doug Flutie—is supposed to be one of the best high school quarterbacks in the country.

Big Sean is only about 5-foot-8. And while we're sure that there are some 5-foot-8 high school quarterbacks out there, those QBs do not get recruited by major college programs. And they definitely don't end up being the top-recruited high school QB in the country. Just go and take a look at the 2015 ESPN 300, which lists the top high school recruits right now. There's one QB on the list who is 5-foot-11. But just about every other QB is 6-foot-2 or better. Bottom line: Big Sean isn't all that "big," which would mean he would have to play a position other than quarterback if he wanted to get recruited out of high school.

4.Big Sean is wearing the jersey number 88 while playing quarterback.

When's the last time you saw a quarterback wearing the No. 88? Go ahead and think about it. We'll wait…

Yeah, so QBs don't typically wear the No. 88. Not even in high school. That jersey number is reserved for wide receivers and, in some cases, tight ends. So Sean would have been better off going with No. 1 or No. 7 or No. 12 or, hell, anything but No. 88! Shouldn't that have been obvious?

5.One of Big Sean's wide receivers is wearing the jersey number 77.

Sean wearing No. 88 isn't the only jersey-related faux pas committed in the "IDFWU" video. At one point, Sean also throws a pass to a guy wearing the No. 77, which is a number that's typically reserved for offensive lineman. There's a chance that head coach Kanye West got really creative and drew up a play for an eligible offensive tackle (just nod along if you're not a football fan). But that's probably not something that you'd do at the end of a football game when you're down 10 points.

6.Kanye West calls a running play right up the middle with his team trailing by 10 points and about a minute left on the clock.

Kanye West is a genius. There's no denying that. And he's become a genius in the eyes of many by doing things that other people wouldn't dare to do. But even he wouldn't run the play that he runs in the video with a minute and change left on the clock in the game.

Despite the fact that he's supposed to have one of the best quarterbacks in the entire country on his team, Kanye decides to ask Big Sean to hand the ball off to DJ Mustard—DJ MUSTARD!—at around midfield. From there, Mustard is supposed to run right up the middle, break a bunch of tackles, and score a touchdown. Of course, he does it in the video with ease. But IRL, he'd probably get tackled for a two-yard gain and Big Sean's team would waste about 40 seconds trying to peel DJ Mustard up off the ground and get him back to the sideline before running another play. So it wasn't a good play for Kanye to run and, if anyone actually called it during a real game, they'd be fired before the game even ended.

7.Big Sean and DJ Mustard do a choreographed touchdown dance—even though they're still losing.

There's only a minute left on the clock and you're still losing, fellas! Stop dancing and get the hell off the field. Outside of the fact that the dance would likely drawing a penalty flag in high school, it's also just not a good idea to do too much dancing when your probability of winning the game is still very low.

8.Big Sean's team manages to get the ball back at the end of the game by…well, we don't know how they got the ball back, but it must have been amazing!

We get that the video wouldn't have been very good if it had ended with the Pirates taking a knee and running out the clock. But how did Big Sean's Lions manage to score with a minute left and then get the ball back again despite having no timeouts?

Hmmm…We're left to assume that they were able to recover an onside kick. But come on, if you're going to perform an onside kick, at least let us see it! It's one of the most exciting plays in football, and we'd be especially interested in seeing what kind of crazy onside kick Kanye West would draw up. After seeing the running play he put together for DJ Mustard, we can only imagine that it'd be something special.

9.The game probably should have ended with the kicker for Big Sean's team trying a field goal.

Okay, here are your options: With your team trailing 24-21 at the end of a game and in position for a field goal attempt, you can either kick the field goal or you can have Big Sean take a snap, fake a pass, shed several tackles, exhibit some of the worst ball safety techniques ever, and then dive into the end zone for a win. Which one are you taking?

We all saw which option Kanye & Co. chose. And after seeing it, we have one more question: If you're going to have the video end by attempting one of the most unrealistic plays of all time, why not just hand the ball to Mustard again? At least that would be believable after what we saw earlier in the video.

*shrugs* Oh well. At least the song is still good!
