Jennifer Lopez capped off another banner year by hosting this week's Saturday Night Live.

The multi-hyphenate appeared on the sketch series two times before, serving as double-duty (host and musical guest) in 2001 and 2010. Obviously, a lot has happened since the last time Lopez took the SNL stage—especially within the last 12 months. The entertainer turned the big 5-0, got engaged to Alex Rodriguez, embarked on a sold-out tour, starred in the critically acclaimed Hustlers film, and secured the 2020 Super Bowl Half Time Show with Shakira. It's no wonder she was chosen as one of People magazine's "People of the Year."

Lopez looked right at home as soon as she took the stage at Studio 8H, recapping her blessed year and what's to come. Then, assisted by the Rockettes, she does a rendition of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” to really bring in the holiday cheer.

You can watch Lopez's opening monologue for this week's SNL above. The episode also featured musical guest DaBaby.
