Bill Cosby has issued a statement through Instagram to further explain why he isn’t remorseful despite currently serving time in prison for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004.

Cosby’s publicist Andrew Wyatt recently spoke with NBC 10 Philadelphia where he provided an update on the comedian since he was placed behind bars. Aside from declaring that Cosby thought jail has been an "amazing experience," many questioned if Wyatt was truthful in saying that Bill is “not remorseful because he did nothing wrong.”

Cosby’s own statement proves that he’s adamant about feeling no remorse, but he took it a step further by claiming to be a political prisoner, and likening his circumstance to that of Martin Luther King, Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, and Nelson Mandela.
