Tom Hiddleston is keeping mum about Disney's upcoming Loki series.

During a visit to Phoenix's ACE Con, Hiddleston said that he was excited about the series from the Disney+ streaming service.

"I think I posted something about this. It's very exciting. I cannot say much about it, I'm afraid," said Hiddleston. "Time will tell."

Comic Book postulates that the actor was hiding something mischievous in his seemingly tight-lipped response. They believe that the reference to time is a subtle nod to the rumors that the series will deal with a younger Loki.

Hiddleston has only confirmed that the project is happening. He posted that there were "more stories to tell" and "more mischief to make" to social media last year.

Hiddleston understands the eagerness to read into his words. Given that Loki died at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, fans are desperate to learn how the actor will carry on in the role in the new series.

“Listen... I’ve heard some amazing theories about this," Hiddleston said at a recent convention. "I was in a park in London a couple of weeks ago, and some guys came and said hi, and they asked me the same question. They said, ‘Hey, listen, we need an answer to this question. All the other times Loki’s died’ — there’s been a few — ‘he stabs with his right hand. And now he’s stabbing with his left hand.’ I was like, ‘That’s incredible attention to detail.’”
