Nwodim, who's had small roles in 2 Broke Girls and Living Biblically, is slated to make her debut during the season 44 premiere as the only new featured player. And it'll be one helluva first episode with host Adam Driver and musical guest Kanye West, who's slated to debut music from his upcoming album, Yandhi, on the show.

As for the writers, a few have brought it up on their social media feeds. "I am happy to say that I am joining #SNL as a writer this season, finally fulfilling the prophetic predictions of the Mountain View High School class of 2007," read a tweet from Linic with a photo of his yearbook which lists him as one of the students "most likely to be on Saturday Night Live!"

Yang, who co-hosts the pop culture podcast Las Culturistas, is earning some fame on Twitter for his impressive facial expressions in The View. He also claimed he "Had to pass as Genius Incel for years to ever have a shot" at working for SNL. Hilarious

Watching @MattRogersTho and @bowenyang's reactions in the back may possibly be the most riveting thing of the fall television season. https://t.co/wfjT51xoEZ
