Rihanna and Donald Glover Spotted in Cuba, Reportedly Filming Hiro Murai's Movie

According to a local magazine, Rihanna and Donald Glover have been spotted in Havana, Cuba filming a secret project called 'Guava Island' directed by Hiro Murai.

Multi-hyphenate superstars Rihanna and Donald Glover were spotted hanging out in Cuba last week, but this was no vacation. Rumor has it that these two were filming for a Hiro Murai–directed film titled Guava Island.

The premise of the film, and many other details about it are still unknown. According to the Cuban publication Vistar magazine, Letitia Wright and Nonso Anozie will also star. Murai is best known for his work on Glover's Atlanta, as well as Childish Gambino videos like “This Is America,” "3005," and more.

So far, filming for the flick has reportedly taken place in several spots around Cuba’s capital, Havana, including a textile factory.

RiRi recently starred in the summer gender-flipped heist film Ocean’s 8 alongside Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, and more. She’s also working on two albums, including a reggae project, and still running her huge Fenty Beauty, Savage, and Puma empires. When does she sleep?

Rihanna will host her annual Diamond Ball charity event next month, which Gambino will perform at. He's been dropping music all summer, and continues production on his hit FX show Atlanta.

If the reports are true, hopefully it’s only a matter of time before we’re blessed with a Glover and Rihanna performance on the big screen.
