Ellen DeGeneres? More like Ellen DeGenerous. For her 60th birthday, the comedic host surprised her audience with ONE MILLION DOLLARS.

In her latest talk show episode, DeGeneres shared that each audience member was there for a "special reason."

"All season long, I partnered with Cheerios to encourage people to do ‘One Million Acts of Good’ and if you’re here in my audience, you helped us reach that goal," she said. DeGeneres, who can also name Michelle Obama as a friend, shared examples of their good deeds which included two volunteers who used their own money to deliver supplies to victims of Hurricane Harvey, a teacher who donated a kidney to her student's mother, and a man who quit his job to start a sanctuary for farm animals.

To honor them, she said she was going to do something that she's "never done before" and give them the "biggest gift [she's] ever given anybody ever."

That's when she made the surprising reveal that each and every audience member there would share one million dollars. "I hope you continue to pay it forward and share all the good." We're not crying, you are!

We did a little digging and figured out that the seating capacity for The Ellen DeGeneres Show is about 400. So that's roughly $2,500 each. Not a bad way to end your day at all. Check out the audience's faces when they discovered the surprise news in the video above.
