The synopsis for the upcoming Han Solo Star Wars spin-off, titled Solo: A Star Wars Story, has been released just a little over four months prior to the date that the movie will hit theaters. According to Lucasfilm Inc. the picture will take place several years prior to Han meeting Luke and Obi-Wan. Of course, the details can be accurately described as "non-specific":

“Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.”

Solo: A Star Wars Story will star Alden Ehrenreich as a young version of the film's title character, and will also feature Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover (as Lando), plus Chewbacca. Additionally it will be directed by Ron Howard after the previous directors quit over "creative differences." While we haven't even seen a trailer yet, Howard did confirm that they wrapped production on the movie last October.

Look for Solo in theaters on May 25.
