Sopranos fans are about to wig TF out. It would appear that three of the HBO mega-series’ major stars plus two other recurring characters will be working together on John Gallagher’s Sarah Q, which is set to start production in New York. For those of you too young to remember The Sopranos, was almost Game of Thrones-level popular, and everyone you love dies. Anyway, it will be the first time the actors have reunited on screen since Sopranos ended in 2007. If only Tony Soprano were alive to see this day. RIP James Gandolfini.

Sarah Q’s title role will be played by Emmy James. As Deadline reports, she’ll be joined on screen by Soprano vets Tony Sirico (Paulie Walnuts), Vincent Pastore (Pig Bussy), Frederico Castelluccio (Furio), William DeMeo (Jason Molinaro) and Artie Pasquale (Burt Gervasi). Sirico and Pastore previously starred in Gallagher’s film The Deli. Soprano fan’s may be bummed to discover that Sarah Q isn’t a crime drama, but rather a dark comedy about a young girl’s experience at a Manhattan acting conservatory. At least that means none of your favorite characters will get whacked.

Co-starring in the film, are Ashlee Macropoulos, Samantha Scaffidi, Tamara Skylar Jones and Josette Dwyer. Among the supporting cast are Lucie Pohl, Shing Ka, Joseph D’Onofrio and Garry Pastore. Sarah Q is being produced by Gallagher, with Joe Benedetto, Paul Mammano and Shing Ka, with John Bruno as Line Producer. The project is a co-production of Goddess Girl Films, 305 Media Group, People Artistic, and Trajectory Films.
