Comedian Chelsea Handler is facing scrutiny following a homophobic tweet she sent out Wednesday night questioning Senator Lindsey Graham's sexuality and insinuating he is being blackmailed to support Donald Trump.
Surprisingly, the tweet has still not been deleted by Handler despite the massive criticism that she has garnered for her remarks, but people are calling for her to be reprimanded.
Handler's comments were in reaction to a bipartisan immigration meeting held by Trump this past Tuesday. "Most fascinating meeting I’ve been involved with in twenty plus years in politics," Graham tweeted afterward. "I very much appreciate @POTUS@realDonaldTrump attitude, demeanor, and desire to get something done that will make our nation more secure—while being fair to the #Dreamers."
This isn't Handler's first controversial moment on Twitter. Some of her past rants include calling for a military coup against Donald Trump, mistaking Republican representative Dana Rohrabacher for a woman, and blaming Republicans for a deadly mass shooting at a Texas church that occurred last November. One thing is for sure: She is clearly not a fan of the Trump administration.
Handler stepped away from her Netflix show Chelsea to focus more on political activism this past October. This probably isn't the "activism" anyone expected.
