Ryan Reynolds at Time 100

This morning, the world woke up to news that Disney's planned purchase of 21st Century Fox had gone through to the tune of $52.4 billion. Since then, everyone worth their weight in monthly Netflix fees has been speculating on what all of this means. One of the obvious wins is the idea of Marvel Studios taking over the Marvel properties that Fox owns, like the Fantastic Four franchise and the entire X-Men film franchise, which means that Ryan Reynolds' enigmatic Deadpool would fall under the House of the Mouse.

Reynolds speculated previously about what a Disney x Deadpool collaboration would look like, and today, he posted a photo of what we all know would happen when Deadpool heard the news of Disney copping Fox.

That would line up properly with Reynolds' tweet about the rumored deal a little over a week ago.

For those keeping score, Deadpool's pansexual, so the addition to the Disney house opens up the possibilities for romance among numerous species for him. Whose bed he rests his head in aside, the real question is how does this merger help (or harm) Deadpool 2, which hits theaters on June 1, 2018?
