The RZA Talks His New Movie "Brick Mansions" and Sticking Up Corner Stores with Hand Grenades

Wu-Tang Clan's leader, the RZA has stories to tell.

In Brick Mansions,Camille Delamarre's new dystopian action crime flick, Wu-Tang Clan mastermind RZA stars as Tremaine, a ruthless and well connected Detroit crime lord who rules over a housing development police have walled in to contain crime. Armed with a cleaver, guns, and even a Russian missile, he, like the Wu, ain't nothin' to fuck with. Of course, Paul Walker and Parkour co-founder David Belle, who play an undercover cop and an ex con who wants to clean up the neighborhood, respectively, fuck with him nonetheless.

During his promotional tour, Complex recently sat down with RZA in L.A. to talk about the craziest thing he's seen in a housing project, his acting philosophy, and his memories of his Paul Walker.
