The truth is, female weed smokers are criminally under-represented in Hollywood. They're in stoner movies, but they're often playing the cute and responsible sober girl to the sweatpants-wearing, burnout boyfriend. Of course, that's not to suggest they don't exist. The title of the film pretty much sums up Jennifer Aniston’s character Olivia’s whole reason for becoming BFFs with Mary Jane. All of her other friends are insanely rich and focusing their resources on starting a family, leaving her as the token, broke, single friend they all obnoxiously pity.
