Video Shows Machine Gun Kelly Being Booed and Getting Into Altercation at Louder Than Life Festival

Machine Gun Kelly was booed at the Louder Than Life Festival, with attendees also flipping him off, following his diss aimed at Slipknot's Corey Taylor.

Machine Gun Kelly wasn’t well received at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky this weekend.

On Saturday night, the musician was booed by the crowd, which also flipped him off, footage from TMZ shows. According to the outlet, there are two main reasons behind their vitriol: first, the rock festival attendees weren’t pleased that MGK has transitioned from making rap music to rock. TMZ explains that it’s because the rock and metal fans are “purists” who believe he made the switch because he had to.

Secondly, MGK recently dissed Slipknot’s Corey Taylor at Chicago’s Riot Fest earlier this month, which Slipknot also played. MGK told his audience that he’s “happy” he isn’t “50 years old wearing a fucking weird mask on a stage, talking shit.”

MGK then fired shots at Taylor on Twitter, writing that the verse Taylor sent in for MGK’s last album, Tickets to My Downfall “was fucking terrible” so it wasn’t used. However, following MGK’s claims, Taylor responded on Twitter by sharing receipts that show he turned down the opportunity to be on the album because he didn’t feel like he was “the right guy for the track.”

Another video from the Louder Than Life festival appears to show MGK getting into a physical altercation with someone from the crowd.
