In time for autumn, Lenny Kravitz brought back his gigantic brown scarf.

To ring in the new season on Monday (Sept. 23), the 60-year-old musician got cold-weather ready in his signature brown scarf while going on a sidewalk stroll in a TikTok clip. The video was first filmed in 2023, but for the sake of the season–and representing big scarves everywhere–Kravitz gladly revisited it.

Completing his fit were oversized shades, denim jeans and tan boots, similar to his famous 2012 scarf meme, albeit without wearing a purple beanie.

"Grab your big scarf, it's the first day of fall," he says in the video below.

Kravitz's huge brown scarf has become something of legend since he first wore it in a 2012 picture. He reacted to the meme in a 2018 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where the "Fly Away" artist explained that he couldn't "escape" the image.

"I cannot escape this," Kravitz told Fallon. “I live in the Bahamas, I’m used to hot weather and I had to go to the store, I was buying some groceries and I thought I’d put on a little scarf to protect my throat, and that’s the scarf I had.”

"The guy who made that scarf, you can blame that on," he continued. "He made that scarf and he gave it to me, and that was the day I thought I would break it out. And I had no idea that there would be paparazzi."

"Here’s the thing about the internet though, that’s the problem—the scarf keeps getting bigger, and bigger and bigger," he concluded.
