Leading the charge for British rap in 2019, South London native Dave picks up where he left off last year after topping the UK charts with "Funky Friday", this time sharing the visuals for his new Fraser T Smith-produced single "Black".

An ode to the shared worldwide black experience, it's Dave at his story-telling, raw and emotive best. Directed by Nathan James Tettey, Edem Wornoo and Dave himself, footage from his trip to Lagos, Nigeria, is interspersed between powerful imagery from the UK, with cameos from the likes of Jae5, Tiffany Calver, Stormzy, Raheem Sterling and Ozwald Boateng.

A real statement of intent for a rapper who could have re-upped on the same formula that brought him chart-topping success a few months back, "Black" is both bold and necessary, indicating why Dave will be here for a long time to come.

Dave's debut album, Psychodrama, is out later this year—pre-order it here.
