'Yeezus,' which was Kanye's sixth studio album, dropped back in 2013.

UPDATED 12:04 a.m. ET: It looks like Kanye will in fact be releasing a new project titled Yandhi and it'll be arriving before the end of the month on September 29.

'Ye took to Twitter and Instagram to share the news.

Though nothing has been confirmed, all signs are pointing to Yandhi being Kanye's ninth solo studio album.

See original story below.

Kanye West fans are hyped over what appears to be a tease of a Yeezus follow-up.

Shortly after it was announced that Kanye would be returning to Saturday Night Liveas musical guest, 'Ye took to social media to share a photo of a Sony MD80 minidisc that bears a striking resemblance to the album cover of Yeezus. Maybe Kanye will be taking the opportunity to debut new music from the rumored project while performing on SNL

People are also speculating that the album will be titled Yandhi

Though nothing is set in stone as of yet, we reached out to a rep for Kanye for clarity. Confirmed or not, fans are certainly pumped about the possibility.

If we get a Yeezus 2 I don't know what I'm gonna do. Yeezus still to this day is my favorite album of all time and the possibility of a second one gives me such immense amounts of joy.

Kanye previously performed Yeezus tracks "Black Skinhead" and "New Slaves" on the late-night variety show.

There's also the chance that Kanye is just messing around. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
