Teyana Taylor Loses Wig Mid-Show, Keeps Performing

In the middle of her performance at 9:30 Club in Washington DC on Saturday night, Teyana Taylor was rocking so hard that her wig literally flew off her head.

"Here’s a recap of the wig snatching in DC last night!" Teyana Taylor wrote on Instagram Sunday afternoon.

She's wasn't joking.

In the middle of her performance at 9:30 Club in Washington DC on Saturday night, Taylor was rocking so hard that her wig literally flew off her head. Without missing a beat, she grabbed it off the back of her neck and kept performing even harder than before. The crowd completely lost it.

"The show must go on ALWAYS!" she wrote, before acknowledging that The Shade Room's Instagram account wasted no time sharing the clip on Saturday night.

Taylor also jumped into comments and defended herself against someone who claimed she was embarrassing her whole family. "How am I embarrassing my family?" she replied. "Because MY WIG flew off during MY SOLD OUT CONCERT?? The show must go on Petunia!! The WIG wasn't secured last night but the COIN was. Have a blessed day sis."

Naturally, her fans fully embraced Taylor after the show and celebrated the way she handled the situation.
