'Kids See Ghosts' Gives Kanye Back-to-Back Complete Albums Debuting on the Hot 100

Kanye West and Kid Cudi's entire collaborative album has debuted on the Hot 100 chart; however, it failed to perform as well as Kanye's recently released solo project, 'Ye.'

Ye did it again.

A week after his entire eighth solo studio album debuted on the Hot 100, Kanye West pulled off the same feat alongside Kid Cudi with their group Kids See Ghosts' self-titled debut album. Chartdata reported that all seven tracks from the G.O.O.D. Music release appeared on this week’s chart; unfortunately, however, none of the cuts were able to crack the top 10...or top 20, or 30.

As of this week, Kids See Ghosts’ highest-charting track is “Reborn” at No. 39; “4th Dimension” featuring Louis Prima follows at No. 42; “Feel the Love” took the No. 47 slot; “Freeee (Ghost Town Pt. 2)” is No. 62; “Fire” is No. 67; “Cudi Montage” appeared at No. 69; and the album’s title track landed at No. 73.

The week prior to Ye, Pusha-T's G.O.O.D.-streak-starting DAYTONA album debuted with four songs in the Hot 100, the highest, the Drake diss ""Infrared," hitting No. 65.

Kids See Ghosts performed much better as a whole, debuting at the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200 chart this week. The album, with Kanye production on every track, racked up142,000 album equivalent units in its first week, 79,000 being traditional album sales. Though Cudi and Ye weren’t enough to place Kids See Ghosts at at the top of the chart, final figures were notably higher than projected first-week sales.
