Post Malone Is Starting His Own Record Label

"We're going to do it how we been doing it from the beginning," his manager Dre London says.

Post Malone has figured out how to master the charts so far in his career, and his next step reportedly involves starting a record label of his own.

In an interview with his manager Dre London for Billboard, it was revealed the rapper is working on opening up his own imprint. With Malone currently on tour with 21 Savage and having just released his sophomore album Beerbongs & Bentleys, he might be a bit busy for such an endeavor at the moment, but it's definitely in the works.

"He's seen the music business inside out and now he wants to start his label," London explained. "We're going to do it how we been doing it from the beginning, and obviously a distributor is going to come along. Let the bidding begin."

In the interview, London also explained how helping to guide Malone's path to success was anything but easy.

"I was doing seven jobs, emails, assistant, manager, security, agent, PR, record label," he said. "It was that era where we just had a hunch and we had a vibe and knew that something was totally different."

London also shared how the entire video for the hit single "Congratulations," which now has over 765 million views on YouTube, hinged on his ability to produce $25,000 in a matter of 30 minutes to pay featured artist Quavo's appearance fee. "I had half an hour to get 25 grand," he said. "I had a courier come with half and had to rush to the bank to get the other half. It was crazy."
