On Thursday's episode of the Late Late Show, James Corden dropped a new Carpool Karaoke segment featuring Maroon 5 frontman and hypocritical fragrance pusher Adam Levine.

The two vocalized their way through a slew of Maroon 5 concoctions, including the group's 2002 mainstay "This Love." As they belted out some "She Will Be Loved," an intrigued police officer hit his sirens in the lane next to them and pulled them over.

I always knew at some point the police would pull over a #CarpoolKaraoke what happened in this is completely real!!!! https://t.co/NkvYmkTrzy

However, it's not exactly clear why he did so. All told, the interaction between Levine/Corden and the officer was basically just him telling them to be careful.

Last year, Levine and the rest of 5 released their sixth studio effort Red Pill Blues, featuring the SZA collab "What Lovers Do." Julia Michaels, ASAP Rocky, and LunchMoney Lewis also made appearances across the 10-track release.

Levine was recently named the official international ambassador for Yves Saint Laurent Beauté's Y fragrance campaign. Levine said in a statement earlier this month that fronting the campaign is "right for now" because it's aligned with the "creative generation of today.”
