You know when the ever elusive Sade reappears to create new music, it is bound to be a timeless masterpiece.

The legendary singer's new song "Flower Of The Universe" was originally shared on Twitter by No I.D., who produced the remix track for Ava DuVernay's upcoming Disney fantasy A Wrinkle in Time.

I never thought she’d say yes, but asked anyway. She was kind + giving. A goddess. We began a journey together that I’ll never forget. Proud to announce that Sade has created an original song for WRINKLE IN TIME. It’s entitled “Flower of the Universe.” And it’s a dream come true. pic.twitter.com/FdXrZ1MFMO

Back in February No I.D., the genius beat maker for the likes of Jay-Z, Common, Drake, Kanye West and others, formally announced that he would be working on the track. At the time, Disney confirmed that the song will also feature a remix as well.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the movie and its original soundtrack would be released on March 9, and will feature contributions from from top acts including Kehlani, Demi Lovato, Beyoncé protégés Chloe x Halle, and Sia. As excitement for the film mounted, an elated DuVernay took to Twitter to announce the added surprise of musical accompaniment from the reclusive R&B legend. "I never thought she’d say yes, but asked anyway," DuVernay wrote on Twitter, "She was kind + giving. A goddess. We began a journey together that I’ll never forget. Proud to announce that Sade has created an original song for WRINKLE IN TIME."

"Flower Of The Universe" is Sade's first song in over seven years. Her last last album, Soldier of Love, debuted in 2010 and became certified platinum in the US and Canada. Sade is seldom in the public eye, except for that one time Drake was able to fan out with a photo.

A Wrinkle in Time stars Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling, Reese Witherspoon, and Chris Pine.
