Katy Perry will release her fifth studio album in just a few weeks. But before the big day, she’s given fans another taste of what’s to come.

The 32-year-old singer hit up Twitter on Thursday evening to announce that her latest track, “Swish Swish” featuring Nicki Minaj, would be released at midnight EST. Thankfully for fans, she kept her word.

The track is the third single off Katy’s upcoming Witness project. It follows the lead single “Chained to the Rhythm” with Skip Marley and the Migos-assisted “Bon Appétit.”

Nicki teased the track earlier this week, and sparked rumors she and Katy would perform “Swish Swish” this Sunday during the Billboard Music Awards.

During the song, Nicki takes shots at Remy Ma, continuing their long-running back-and-forth. ("Silly rap beefs just get me more checks," Nicki explains.)

All that fake love you showin' couldn't even disguise you
Ran? When? Nicki gettin' tan
Mirror mirror, who's the fairest bitch in all the land?
Damn, man, this bitch is a Stan
Muah, muah, the generous queen will kiss a fan

Katy and Nicki will also appear on Calvin Harris' upcoming Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 project, which will include additional guest appearances by John Legend, Big Sean, Snoop Dogg, Travis Scott, D.R.A.M., and Lil Yachty.

“Swish Swish” can be streamed below via Spotify. You can also find it on Apple Music and iTunesWitness is set to drop June 9.
