Last month, Jose Guapo used a pretty tasteless piece of art for his mixtape cover. (You can peep it here.) As terrible as the cover was, it got us thinking: Is it that hard to find decent artwork for a mixtape? Thanks to the Internet but also sites like Tumblr and apps like Instagram, the average Internet user consumes a ridiculous amount of media. Just think about how many images you see on any given day on any of the websites you visit or social media sites you use. All the most amazing pictures in the world are accessible to all of us and yet, plenty rappers struggle to find even remotely interesting artwork for their projects.
