Gizmodo has discovered that photos of Donald Trump posted on his official Facebook and Instagram accounts over the last few months have been altered to make him appear thinner. While the retouched images aren't curved walls in the background bad, the minor touches are still noticeable, especially when compared side-by-side with the original. Or in GIF format.

Take the image below, for example.

The Trump campaign has been altering photos of Donald Trump to make him look thinner and (not a joke) make his short fingers look longer. https://t.co/dCqwaSQ2Le pic.twitter.com/SpU0KoK1cH

The right arm of Trump's jacket has been thinned out. He was given broader shoulders, which is clearly detectable on the right side of his body. The oddest and funniest part of all the changes, however, is that his index finger was really altered to make it appear longer than it actually is.

A March 2016 Washington Post piece titled "Donald Trump: 'My hands are normal hands'" reveals just how self-conscious The Donald is about his unusually small mitts. "I was on line shaking hands with supporters and one of the supporters said, 'Mr. Trump, you have strong hands, you have good size hands,'" he lied said about his time meeting his supporters on the campaign trail. "And then another one would say, 'Oh, you have great hands, Mr. Trump. I had no idea.'"
