Some people really want to drink mummy juice from a recently unearthed sarcophagus. They want to drink this cursed mummy water so badly, in fact, someone created a petition on Change.org.

During a construction dig in Alexandria, Egypt, a sarcophagus was discovered. Thanks to its black exterior, coupled with the fact that it was buried with a huge alabaster head, some people were convinced that the vessel held something demonic or cursed. When it was opened, the contents were just three mummies in some sewage water.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities Mostafa Waziri said, "The sarcophagus has been opened, but we have not been hit by a curse," reports Egypt Today

While the sarcophagus has been formally dismissed of curses, some people on the internet are not easily convinced. In the petition, folks addressed authorities and wrote, "We need to drink the red liquid from the cursed dark sarcophagus in the form of some sort of carbonated energy drink so we can assume its powers and finally die."

At the time of writing, the petition has gained nearly 9,000 signatures and the count keeps jumping significantly by the minutes.

The petition creator is not convinced that this obviously dangerous and unsanitary liquid is something that cannot be consumed. They wrote, "please stop trying to tell me the skeleton juice is mostly sewage that's impossible everyone knows skeletons cannot poop."

Great logic.
