Last month we gave you a little preview of an exhibition entitled "Stroking It" by Nathan VanHook, the Nike footwear designer who worked with Kanye West on the Air Yeezy IIs. The One Grand Gallery exhibition was a success, and now we get a special look at the artist and the work that went into the solo exhibition.
In the short film above by Johnny Le, VanHook talks a little about balancing life as a designer, family man, and artist, and provides a behind-the-scenes look at his process of painting brushstrokes to form colorful and complex works with interesting and hilarious names.
